甜玉米鸡汤 (Sweet Corn Chicken Soup)
Ingredients:
- 200g chicken breast (sliced)
- 1 ear of sweet corn (kernels removed)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 cups chicken broth (can be mixed by bouillon cubes or powder with water)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (or flour substitute)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Steps:
- 1. Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a pot, add garlic and sliced chicken, and stir-fry until the chicken is cooked through.
- 2. Add Corn and Broth: Add sweet corn kernels and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- 3. Thicken Soup: Stir in cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) and let it simmer until the soup thickens.
- 4. Add Egg: Slowly pour in the beaten egg while stirring to create egg ribbons.
- 5. Season and Serve: Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Serve hot.
