蛋炒饭 (Egg-fried Rice)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 small carrot (diced)
- 2 spring onions (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Steps:
- 1. Scramble Eggs: Heat oil in a pan, pour in the beaten eggs, and scramble until cooked. Remove and set aside.
- 2. Stir-fry Vegetables: In the same pan, add garlic and diced carrot, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until soft.
- 3. Add Rice: Add the cooked rice to the pan, stir-fry, and break up any clumps.
- 4. Combine and Serve: Stir in the scrambled eggs, soy sauce, and spring onions. Season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.
