  1. 1. Rinse Rice: Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch. Drain well.
  2. 2. With Rice Cooker: * Add the rinsed rice and measured water into the rice cooker. * Add a pinch of salt if desired. * Close the lid and select the “Cook” function. The rice cooker will automatically switch to “Keep Warm” when done. * Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before fluffing with a fork and serving.
  3. 3. Without Rice Cooker – Using a Pot: * Add the rinsed rice and water to a medium pot with a tight-fitting lid. * Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. * Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for 12–15 minutes without lifting the lid. * Turn off the heat and let the rice steam with the lid on for another 5–10 minutes. * Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
