洋葱炒牛肉 (Fried Beef with Onions)
Ingredients:
- 200g beef (thinly sliced)
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce/hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch (or flour substitute)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Steps:
- 1. Marinate Beef: Marinate the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper for 10 minutes.
- 2. Stir-fry Beef: Heat oil in a pan, add the marinated beef, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- 3. Cook Onions: In the same pan, add garlic and onions, and stir-fry until the onions are soft and translucent.
- 4. Combine: Return the beef to the pan, stir well with the onions, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- 5. Serve: Serve hot with rice.
