300g pork tenderloin or chicken breast (sliced into strips)
1 egg (beaten)
2 tbsp cornstarch (or flour substitute)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp ketchup
1 bell pepper (sliced)
1 onion (sliced)
2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying
Cooking Steps:
1. Marinate Pork/Chicken: Marinate the sliced meat with soy sauce, cornstarch, and egg for 10 minutes.
2. Fry Meat: Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated meat until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3. Prepare Sweet and Sour Sauce: In the same pan, stir-fry onions and bell peppers for 2-3 minutes. Add vinegar, sugar, ketchup, and a bit of water to create the sauce.
4. Combine: Return the fried meat to the pan, mix well with the sauce, and cook for another 2 minutes.
